This is a critical phase for preventing a hasty start to construction that might lead to a longer time without use of your kitchen or bathroom. I know many homeowners and contractors who skip this step only to find that they are “ready” but waiting weeks for an item to arrive. They may also experience the cost of their project going up in small increments because the contractor and their team missed important details and left them out of their agreement.
To avoid this we will review the draft construction drawings and specification sheets at the project site with Contractor and Trade Contractors and annotated for revision. The materials and the quotes will be reviewed and quantities may be modified based on the general contractor team’s input. The drawings will then be modified accordingly and prepared for a final review before orders are placed and permits pulled. Once you have approved of everything, all the orders will begin processing within a business week of authorization and receipt of the materials deposit.
